At Diyzee, we want every piece you bring home — from a statement planter to a string of fairy lights — to be exactly what you imagined. If something isn't right, we're here to make it easy.

1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.
To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging where possible.
2. What Can Be Returned
We happily accept returns for items that meet all of the following conditions:
- Returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Unused and in the same condition you received them.
- In original packaging (or securely re-packed to avoid damage in transit).
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
- Not from the non-returnable category listed below.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, safety, or customisation reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalised items – made-to-order décor with custom engravings or prints.
- Clearance or final-sale items – marked as such at the time of purchase.
- Items showing signs of use or installation – e.g., lighting that has been wired in.
- Gift cards.
4. How to Start a Return
Starting a return is simple — just follow these steps:
Email returns@diyzee.com with your order number and reason for return.
We'll review your request and send a Return Authorisation (RA) number within 2 business days.
Place the item in its original or suitable packaging. Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the parcel.
Drop it off at your nearest courier. We recommend using a tracked service so you can monitor the return.
Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Bank processing times may add a further 2–5 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
- Partial refunds may be issued if items are returned in a condition different from when they were sent (e.g., missing parts or damaged packaging).
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
6. Exchanges
Want a different size, colour, or product instead? We offer free exchanges on eligible items within the 30-day window.
- Contact us at returns@diyzee.com to let us know what you'd like instead.
- Once we receive your original item, we'll dispatch the replacement promptly.
- If the new item has a price difference, we'll either charge or refund the difference.
7. Damaged or Wrong Items
We pack our products with care, but if something arrives broken, cracked, or incorrect — we'll sort it out at no cost to you.
- Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item.
- Send us clear photos of the damage or incorrect item and your order number.
- We'll arrange a free return, replacement, or full refund — whichever you prefer.

9. Category-Specific Notes
- Outdoor Décor – must be unused and free from weathering, staining, or signs of outdoor exposure. Please inspect upon arrival before placing outside.
- Indoor Décor – returnable if unused and in original condition. Fragile items (e.g., glass or ceramic) damaged due to inadequate re-packing on return may be subject to partial refunds.
- Artificial Plants & Planters – returnable within 30 days if unused and in original condition. Ensure artificial plants are returned in their original shape and packaging. Report any damage or defects within 48 hours of delivery.
- Lighting – returnable if completely uninstalled, in original packaging, and electrically untampered. Once wiring has been modified, items cannot be returned for safety reasons.
- Garden Accessories – returnable within 30 days if unused and in original condition, including tools, décor stakes, and ornaments.
